This is video from the Launch party in Toronto tonight. FF to 2:20 in the video he says "in the next couple weeks it will be available in the marketplace" not sure I like the sound of that..
Apparently my friend went to the Bell store to get her phone fixed and the guy pulled out the Torch from the box and showed her. He said they JUST got it in!
If anyone from Woodbine wants to confirm, I am so tempted to go into a Bell store and ask.
Now I have no proof of this, just verbal.
If this is true...I'm going to start stalking every Rogers location in the Vancouver area until I find one and make sure they hold it for me.
Alright not to burst anyones high hopes and all and no it' has nothing to do with the release date and such.
But I do wanna point out to those who were listiening to FLOW 935 this morning Devoe went to the Torch Launch party last night that everyone got a free TORCH. The funny thing is that he's a iPhone User and abuser lol he's all like I dont know how to use a BB. Im gonna predict that he's gonna switch to BB from iPhone lol hahahahaha but yes the rumors are true everyone who attended got a free Torch.
To Clarkee, do you know if they're allowed to sell them yet?
That, I do not know, but I doubt it anyways. Details are vary vague because it was a friend who told me about me. (She messaged me because she knows I've been waiting for the Torch for months!)
Ok So here's what I just found out from a Co worker of mine ( heres why I say co worker)
I was just having a conversation with my co worker asking if his wife can do a lil check to see if any of the compay's or Carriers ordered any stock for the Torches.
>> To make it clear, his wife works for a company that does ordering for companies who deal with distribution of Mobile phones ( well one section of the company)
He was informed that his wife recieve a order of 500.00 (again I wouldn't know if that would be the correct amount for units sent) Units to Best buy Stores,
But his wife couldn't confirm with any of the other Mobile carriers because she only deals with certain company's but Other team mates do but again she couldn't confirm that.
So this is just talk but I hope that kinda get's everyone 's hopes kinda up. I dunno if this all makes sence but at this point all the companies should be recieving Torches very very soon for stock.
