Has anyone else pre-ordered any accessories for the Torch yet? I was considering ordering the Blackberry Charging Pod from the Crackberry store, but damn! For a $30 dock i'd have to pay almost $40 in shipping!

They were charging $799 and SN Traders were advertising for $640, but when I called, they said $799 but for me $720. As soon as they hit the domestic carriers, the price will drop at the PMall. I have a friend with a store at the mall and he did the deal for me.

I want to add that I really like this phone. This is a gorgeous phone and it does everything right. I've done two software upgrades. I've used every BB, but I was a true iPhone user. I have been since day one in 2007. I became very bored with the iPhone, great as it is. This Torch is really special. It's a grown-up phone, and I'm a grown-up.

wow. I should have shipped a bunch to myself from New Hampshire... 499$ no tax! with the exchange rate and the prices these people are selling them, i could make 200-300$ a phone!

I bought the charging pod and the holster from the crackberry U.S. store, when UPS showed up at my door it cost me an extra $44 in border fees.

you guys shouldnt waste re-new contracts just to get a phone... Let your contract run out, buy the phone out-right, and negotiate on better rates for your plans.

this could save you hundres of dollars over the life of your contract instead of COSTING you money even tho you get the phone for 150$

I guess shipping in Canada from the .ca site will only be $6, plus $2 GST. So all in all i'll be looking at about $43 for a Charging Pod. Which is much better than the $70 i was gonna be looking at shipping from the States lol.

I will be getting the 9800, upgrading from my 2.5 year old 8830...which I still like a lot.
The smartphone is one of my many perks through work and we have unlimited voice and data pkgs.
If I was buying my own smartphone I would still get a Blackberry. Blackberry has always been 99.99% reliable for me plus I live in Waterloo. I have friends and neighbours that work for RIM so in a way I feel like I support the community.
