Hi, I was wondering if anybody could help me figure out why i have this 'lock screen' thingy?
And how do i get rid of it? it doesnt work anyway.

Go look at QuickLaunch options. Read every single option, I'm almost positive that's a QuickLaunch function.

I'm betting you have Berry Slider installed. If you do, and don't have a password set up, it will do nothing. If it is Berry Slider, Launch slider, then go to Menus > Options > Menu > Main Options, and set "show menu items" to no. That should get rid of that pesky item for you. ~ecm

You were right it was the berry slider.
It was driving me nuts, I'm kinda OCD with this kind of thing.
