whatever....that isn't how it worked with the 9700 section, as all offical and unoffical (leaked) OS updates were in the 9700 thread. Going back to the 9000, I've never had to even look in the BETA OS section for any OS updates.

Key word is Offical. I painfullly learned that here.
In the 9800 thread (this one) you will only find RIM Offical released OS updates, which there are NONE to date for the 9800.
RIM doesn't officially release OSes or updates, carriers do after they field test them and approve them.
Supposedly .214 will be the shipping OS on the Canadian units next week, which if true you will see an official release of the OS from at least one of those carriers any time now. Still better to upgrade to .225 though, as it addresses known bugs in .214.
