Hello

I'd like to know if it is normal that when I do a phone call when the BB Torch is only on screen mode(that means that the keybord is hidden, closed) I have a huge interference a sort of "bzzzzzz" during my call.
When during the call I open the keybord...it disappears...
Somebody has this problem?

The problem disappears when I put the 3G...but I often put the EDGE (2G)to save battery...
Somebody has the same problem?

Should I change my Blackberry or is it normal?

The 2g signal will cause interference with other electronic equipment like speakers, radios, etc.

As much as I know that 2G saves battery life, I refuse to use it because of degraded call quality, not to mention the interference it causes on my car's speakers when I'm driving.

I recommend using 3G.

Possibly but I don't think so. When the keyboard is open, it could be blocking the signal from reaching whatever it is interfering with.
