Called AT&t since my 9700 is starting to act up and they are sending me the 9800. Its probably reburb and will not come with everything, but I am still excited. So I will be doing a lot of searching to see what all I need to do and the best apps for the 9800. I should be a proud owner of the torch on tomorrow. Yea me!

Welcome to the Torch family I hope you like it.
I believe that refurbished devices come with everything that a new one has in the box.

Welcome to the club My 9700 screen cracked and was replaced with a Torch. Love it, but still miss the Bold. You'll get all of your apps and contacts back if you just "restore" a backup from your 9700, via the Desktop Manager. It'll take a little while to track down activation codes, and some of the apps will need you to obtain new codes, but this was a pretty painless experience for me. Just took a little dedicated time, but who doesn't spend a few hours playing with their new phone anyways?

I just made an insurance claim on my 9800, they sent me everything that was in the original box(charger, data cable, DM disk, instruction manual). Hope you enjoy the torch, lord knows I do.

Thanks everyone. I am sure that I will. Was going to upgrade in May anyway.

Homer1475 did u have to request to have everything sent to u or they just did it automatically? Hopefully since they know I am coming from the 9700 they will send everything.
