Its better than I expected. It gets me through the day almost no problem, but there's no chance in **** it'll last more than a day. I'm almost always at around 30 or 40 percent come the end of the days, and some days if I've been using it a lot at work or school I top of the battery using my car charger to make sure it gets me through the night if I'm going out. My 8900's battery was much better, and would always last me 2 days even on really heavy usage, but I guess that's the price of the new phone haha.

It's alright for me. I get through the day with about 30% left. This is after I uninstalled social hub. Before that it would be done around the end of my day.
Mine varies between having about 30-40% at the end of the day after heavy use. I used to get about 60-70% before i started using added more items to the social feeds. So that may be what has caused the change.
Between 7 amish and 6 pm I usually have it close to 30 percent. I turned down my screen brightness but it still don't last epically as long as everyone says it does. Its good but not as good as my 9700. I probably use this more though. Its much more of a joy to use. Don't get me wrong, the 9700 was a beautiful phone but this is nicer.

^Mine is about the same as yours and get a solid day out it if I don't watch movies with the audio streaming over Bluetooth. I do find that if I do a partial charge during the day, the battery drains much quicker than from a full charge.

1-2 days of what I would call moderate use.
3-4 phone calls per day, check Social Feed 5-6 times per day. Surf some web, check the sports scores. Listen to some music.
It sucks. I was down to 25% yesterday after only 7 hours usage from a full charge. Then again, it's my fault because I'm running Vlingo, which when mixed with OS 6 has proven to be a unparalleled battery drainer. And I run Berry Slider on top of that, which was supposedly updated to reduce its tendency to suck battery juice, but I have my doubts about that. I just have to remember to plug in various times at work and in the car (and obviously overnight) and all is good.
When I first got my torch, the battery was down to 30-40 percent by bedtime on a full charge. Now, after a month I'm about 80-90 after one day and around 50 percent after 2 days. So... Awesome in a nutshell. Ai find the music player slaughters the battery and I leave wifi on all day most days which doesn't seem to affect it much anymore.
I guess my usage is pretty light. Although I BBM with my wife all day long heh

Worst battery life of any BlackBerry I have ever owned (8100, 8310, 9000, 8900
and 9700 previously). Hopefully someone is working on an extended version.
And before anyone asks, yes I know all the tweaks to extend battery life.

Seidio recently sent me an e-mail (after my inquiry) and they said that they have NO plans for an extended battery for the Torch.
I turned my brightness all the way down. really helps on most phones. I just got mine yesterday morning and after doing that I didn't need to charge it until i got home.
Coming from the horrible battery on an iPhone 3gs I was not sure what to expect when I got my Torch. I am so impressed with the Torch battery! I check/use mine constantly from 6am till midnight and eaisly get thru the day. Probably could go day and a half, but I still put it on charger at night.
