When I invoke "Text Messaging" the following screen shows no messages. This is correct as I have deleted them all. However, when I invoke the space on the main menu between "Select a Profile" and "Universal Search" (not sure what you call this area but it's the one where the new message icons appear), the following screen shows under "Text Messages" 2 messages. I wish to clear this space. How do I do so in order to have the 2 screens comparable. I hope I've explained this well enough.

if it shows two msgs in the notification area, u can click on them so that it takes u to the msg and also clear the notification icon.
but if it just show msg icon but no msgs when u expand the notification bar, i recommend simply doing a re-start (alt + R-shift + del)
    it will fix it
