My Wife sent us both a picture from her laptop last night We both have BB Torch fresh out of the box and had both just set up email, Mine came through as a .jpg (no problem) hers came through as winmail.dat and she cant download to phone.... How can I fix this????

yes on her PC its a .JPG

I don't know maybe it's a fluke - did this just happen once or do pictures always arrive like that on her phone?

I've had this happen on previous devices... In my case, the email sent from laptop was sent via MS Outlook using rich text format. If I sent it using plain text format, I wouldn't get the ever-annoying winmail.dat.
Anyway, I would review the settings in email options on both devices. Maybe she has html email enabled and you don't?
