    Got problem with 9860. Red light slowly flashing with BlackBerry desk top mgr showed intermittent connection. Try to up date with battery pull via pc connection, but the OS is up to date. I have wiped device. The desk top software is recognized the device and pin. But error message saying "dead battery". I am sure the battery is full charge. Any suggestion what to do next? Many thanks gurus.

    Have you tried different USB ports?

    Yap. Same problem. (two USB cables, two different computers, etc.)

    It sounds like the ports you've tried aren't giving enough juice. Are they USB 2.0 ports?

    Yap. I am heading to repair shop. Hopefully, it can reload OS, not hardware issue. Thx for all your help. (I think it is software corrupted, it did ask pw and reload halfway before the intermittent happen). Thx again.

    Glad to report my 9860 is alive again. After repair house reload the OS. Nice Xmas gift :-).
