What does it mean when it says EN over where the service bars are?

You have other languages installed. The Language Indicator noting EN is English.

Should it be displayed there? I know I used that shortcut by accident and selected english (us). My girlfriend has the same phone and hers does not display EN. Is there anyway to get rid of it?

It will not show the "EN" if you remove the other languages you have installed. Do it through Desktop Manager.

I selected it by accident also. The EN showed up for awhile then eventually disappeared.
