Hi there

I got a torch a couple days ago and love it so far. But I noticed today that my earpiece at a high volume (8-10) makes buzzing noise and distorts the sound. What I don't understand is that the ringtone sounds fine, and I don't see a separate speaker for that. So I was wondering if this was just how phonecalls are and if I should go return it for a new one.

The sound level is fine, just the really irritating buzzing noise

Is it a buzzing like when your phone is close to a speaker? Have you noticed that it stops if you slide the phone up when in a call?

That was a problem when the Torch was released. OS updates seem to have fixed it. Make sure you have the latest update (which you can find here somewhere)

The phone just buzzes by itself. It is slightly better when the slider is up, but the problem is still there. I have .265 right now, will try the latese (.3XX) and see what happens.
