- In DM6 under Music synchronization settings You can choose to sybc with either iTunes or Windows Media Player.
Not sure how it actually works as I just drop the music directly to the memory card like if it was a USB Stick.
I actually like the new DM way of doing it better than Roxio which I found clumsy and slow.09-24-10 11:07 AMLike 0 - In DM6 under Music synchronization settings You can choose to sybc with either iTunes or Windows Media Player.

I have a co-worker who was uncomfortable with the sync method in DM6 so I re-loaded DM5 w/Roxio for her. After you load DM5, Roxio is basically a stand alone program that really just used DM5 to launch it. I went ahead and deleted DM5 and added a shortcut to Roxio on her desktop... she says she has the best of both worlds now.09-24-10 12:04 PMLike 0 - You can also reload DM5 w/Roxio if you are more comfortable with that process.

The Music Sync feature on DM6 works flawlessly. I'm talking almost 4000 songs seamlessly transferred from iTunes on my PC to a 32 GB card on my Torch. Plus, I can now use Wireless Music Sync to automagically download OTA to my Torch any new music I've downloaded onto my PC.
If the music on your PC is in iTunes or WMP, it's the ONLY way to go. Everything else is MacGyver territory.09-24-10 02:26 PMLike 0 - Screw drag and drop (and certainly the god-awful Roxio on DM5). I've put DM5 back on my pc with Roxio, but would like to use DM6 and keep Roxio, but Roxio doesn't seem to be a stand alone app.09-25-10 12:16 PMLike 0
