I got my 9800 torch 2 weeks ago and i dont know how to delete the applications that it came with. Such as ... CNN , TWC ( weather channel) , Bloomberg. etc... Applications that i have no need for. How do i delete them from the phone???

I tried ... going on the app and then deleting and restarting the phone BUT ITS STILL THERE

Those apps are controlled by service books that are pushed to the device by AT&T. The only way to get rid of them is to delete the service books but they will eventually be pushed back to the device. Most of them are not installed apps. They are just launchers to download and install them. I would create a folder, move them to the folder, and then hide the folder.

As noted above, they are not really apps. They are merely launchers. They are pushed by the carrier and you cannot stop that. Just hide the icons and forget about them.
