I have a Family plan with two lines, I want to upgrade the primary but I have to pay the $200 while if it was a Individual line it would have been $49.99 thru amazon. What gives?? I am going to just wait.

What gives, is your value as member of a family plan is not as much if you were a new or current customer going through a 3rd party company with additional contract terms than those of the carrier.
THIS. They care more about adding subscribers than lowering "churn" (as sprint called it when I briefly sold my soul and worked in one of their call centers). They rather have new, then steady customers. Every company is like it.
