Changing SIM with another network without PIN release

Hi,

I am currently using my Torch 9800 with SFR (Vodafone France). Now I am going to India for vacation and I will be using my local SIM with BIS access. Since the PIN of my Torch is tied with the vodafr.blackberry.com. I wont be able to register with my local carrier email address. In such a case will i be getting the email I have registered with my SFR account. And what is the data charges counted. Local charges are international charges.

In such a case will i be missing anything ... like Gtalk, BBM, web browsing and what all.

Or with my local sim i can do everything and also the emails tied to SFR BIS will also be pushed to my torch.

Please answer me at the earliest.
