I seem to have gotten stuck with an IP that the previous "IP owner" had gotten permanently banned from a site I would like to use. So this IP address which now belongs to me, will not work with the website.

I can use opera mini, which has a different IP (sweden), but the native browser has a static IP I guess, which is a RIM IP, and it never changes. How can I change or refresh it? I'm a little peeved that a site put a permanent ban on an IP that now I am stuck with, but whatever, I'm sure there's a way to get a new one, just not sure how yet....

I can use opera, but I'd rather use the webkit browser.

    TIA

You will have to get with RIM via your carrier on that or the owners of the website that banned the IP.

So there's no way I can do it myself? I thought maybe there was a way to do it via options, or in the engineering menu. If I were to unregister the handheld and re-register, would that do it? There's gotta be a way to do it right from the phone, no?
