Hoping someone out there can help me out. In our company we just deployed 25 9800 devices. All have been activated on BES (4.1.7). Each Torch has the same OS (6.0.0.246) and all are experiencing the same issue.

The voicemail system is integrated with Exchange in such that a voicemail will be emailed to the user in the form of a .wav file attachment. This can then be played from Outlook or Blackberries.

However, this is when it gets a little odd. From the point that the Torch was activated on BES, any NEW voicemail.wav files cannot be played. "Media not supported" error. However, if the user navigates to an old voicemail message on the Torch from previous to the activation (All users had previous Blackberry devices) then the .wav file will play just fine. Others users still on other devices (OS 4.2, 4.5 & 5.0) can still play new voicemail .wav files.

Any suggestions? (Battery pulls do not fix anything)

    Thanks!

what format are the new WAV files? Maybe if they are not 44.1khz, 16 bit the torch may struggle to play them? Just a thought

The new WAV files are the same as the previous files. The Torch can play those just fine. I'll grab the properties of the WAV and verify if there are any differences.
