    I have a Torch and although predictive text does seem happen for my composition of an email but *not* for texting . Is this possible? I cant even seem to find where to turn it off/on. I understand it is in

    Options > Language and Text Input > Show Text Input Options

    but for the life of me I cant see "Language and Text Input".

    I found it in:

    Options > Typing and input > Typing

    From there select what you want for each type of keyboard.

    Okay I spoke a bit too soon. Predictive text seems to be "on" when I use the touch screen keyboard but not the physical keyboard.
    Sorry I did find where to make the change.

    have you tried a battery pull? Sounds like a glitch, a simple battery pull should solve it.

    A battery pull is not necessary unless your BB is totally locked. For any other issues, pressing alt + right shift + del is sufficient.
