    I am having issues with the Torch today. I have my work and personal emails activated, facebook and other web based apps and nothing is working today. Could anyone help me troubleshoot? The only thing i have tried is removing the battery. Dont really know where else to start. Thanks,

    You might have this dreaded bug.

    The battery pull didn't work? If not, see the above thread.

    I'm assuming you don't have the BB dots icon next to where it says 3G?

    You are correct...no dots. BTW...Love that you are repping "THE UUUUUUUU" LOL. Any solutions? Went on that thread...still going through. Didn't see any solutions yet.

    There is no known solution for 100% of users yet...it has been recognized by RIM and is supposed to be fixed in an upcoming OS version.

    The only 100% way to temporarily fix it is a wipe...some people have managed to fix it changing the APN settings...that thread I linked is full of stuff like that.

    Thanks. So if i do a wipe i can restore with the backup that i have saved to the BB desktop?

    I think you mean PC desktop. Yes, or backup right before you do the wipe so you know the backup is current.
