on at&t website it stated the memory specs as:

512 MB RAM + 512 MB Flash + 4 GB Flash + 4 GB MicroSD

i know the ram is apps install. but what is the 512 mb flash for? same for 4 gb flash. are both actually build in or are they some kinda micro card? thx in advance.

i gotta say, this is some sort of ******** design by rim to confuse users.

ps i see no build it gps for this device either. another blow. so are they coming out with another version with gps build in in 6 months down the road?

4 GB Flash = internal memory.

4 GB MicroSD = expandable memory or the removable disk.

There is built-in GPS. If there were no GPS even I would have to start crucifying this company...

the 512 flash = 512 RAM. it means 512MB of internal memory for items such as the OS, apps, etc. 4GB on on-board memory for pictures, videos, etc and then expandable via microSD to whatever size you please.
