I heard a small part on the fox 2 news this morning, that said something about the Blackberry is NOT going to be a smartphone after the first of the year.

Has anyone else heard anything about that?
Please don't take away my Blackberry...I love it.
It's worse than that. All the new Blackberry's have a built in capacitor glitch so that on January 1st, RIM will send out a signal causing the board on all Blackberry's to fry making them unusable.
It's okay though, I heard they'll be giving out free Pantech Breeze II's as a compensation.
Let me clear this up since you all are unaware of what is going on here.
Effective 01 January 2011, due to a software coding glitch, every BlackBerry ever
made, and due to be made, will turn into toasters. The really bad news is that the
Storm 1 will only be able to lightly toast bread, on one side.
For those thinking QNX will solve this problem, sadly that is not the case but the
upside is all QNX devices will also have a built panini mode.

WTF is the OP talking about?!?!
Thank you Amazinglygraceless! I really needed a laugh today and now I've had it.
You've got it wrong. On January 1 all keyboard BBs will transform into Razr phones. Touchscreen BBs will transmogrify into Treos. So please don't panic when this happens.

Huh? This doesn't make any sense. A BB is a smartphone because of its capabilities, so I don't undertstand how it can stop being a smartphone.
Hey you there! Steve! The OP and my local news have just informed me that you're no longer Steve. You're now Fred. You have the same features, but you're Fred now. I would leave the house. Now. Since you're Fred and not Steve, your wife is sure to call the Police on you.
Sincerely,

Hmmm, I think we need an update to examples of Oxymoron. Maybe a change to this section would make the most sense:
Inadvertent oxymorons
Oxymorons are sometimes inadvertently created by errors or sloppiness in conversation; common examples include extremely average, objective opinion, original copy, and fox news. In some cases an inadvertent oxymoron ends up being widely adopted as the name for some concept and ceases to be recognised as an oxymoron.

let see. one its from Fox news... any questions?????
and two, everyone else is wrong.
the certification is from the institute that certifies EVERYTHING. and they stated in the latest press release, that given the RIM is not an American company, and they have yet to respond to this outrageous fact, that, they the insititue that cerfies everything, have decided to de-list all RIM phones as of Jan 1. Afterwords they will be known and PINKO, Socialist phones.
Thanks that all made me feel much better...I think...Makes me want to go out and buy another Blackberry...
I guess the IPhone is not a smartphone either, cause NO real business professionals use them...So maybe Fox 2 was talked about the IPhone. Which I call a gamer phone.
