I am currently using 448 and am enjoying it for the most part, I have no real problems that intice me to upgrade. However its been a while and with the recent leak of 600, I'm thinking maybe its time for an upgrade, hopefully one that improves the battery life.

Is 576 currently the best OS for the Torch right now or should I perhaps wait to see more reports on 600?

    Thanks guys.

Is there something else you're looking for that not in the 100's of posts already on this?

If 448 is not giving you any problems then stick with it. I had 448 and it was good. There is hardly any difference with any of the newer ones...I've tried them all, they all work well but no super improvements. 576 was good and so far (today) 600 is fine as well.
If you switched someone from 576 to 448, unknowingly, most wouldn't even likely notice.

600! A winner so far. Don't know about the leak but the 9700 Java hybrid is very fine. Better than any of the 4xx or 5xx for me.

I will have to say that 600 is the best I've had to date. 576 was too buggy for me, I hated it with a passion so I had to downgrade back to 526 and wait for 600. But I digress, 488 was one of the better ones.
