I updated BB Protect yesterday morning and rebooted when prompted to do so.
Through out the day, my 9800 felt excessively warm. I noticed that my battery level was also much lower than normal by early afternoon considering I didn't really use it so I plugged into my charging cradle. Later, I spent a few hours out TCB (taking care of business) and again noted my battery level dropped below 50% with no use.
So I did a battery pull and rebooted. Once it came back up, it threw a Java error related to BBM. I didn't write down the message or screen cap it, but it said something about an improper termination of the application. I did another battery pull and rebooted. It seems to be fine now. After completing a full charge early this morning, it still sits at 95% battery level at the time of this post.
