Anyone ever notice volume buttons occasionally don't work

I just noticed this today that when I'm playing a song on my phone, the volume buttons act as the media player as well switching to the next song. I would often try to increase or decrease the volume, and I realize I can't. I tried a battery pull hoping that would solve the issue. It's frustrating how a person can't hear music at all, and having no use of the volume buttons.
I am still under my 30 day warranty, I'm considering taking it back and exchanging for a new one.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes, the same issue has occured on the my new Torch when I am playing music from Pandora. the volumen control seems to cause the player to skip to the next song, or change the volume. There definelty seems to be a glitch. Very annoying.

guys it's not a glitch...
the volume buttons are set up to work in 2 ways..
depending on how hard/long you press
it will increase volume OR skip to the next song.

C'mon... try it with me now...
in 1, 2,3.. step 1, 2, 3 step!

let's see the "other" phones do that!

Press and hold = track

Chuck's dead on. I had same trouble 'til I learned it was merely operator error.

I've had these same problems on my S1. Just tested it out and yes, it's user error. However, i have to tap that thing crazy fast for volume, the slightest delay and it skips tracks on me.

The volume rocker has worked like this on BBs for years!
