    Eh guys so as u all the old BlackBerry trick of holding down the alt bottom and then hitting LG LG would clear out all the back ground cookies and crap on ur BlackBerry with a keyboard, now say you have a full touch screen torch, how's is someone to do this with no physical keyboard? Thanks

    Press Search on the top right corner of the screen, using the on screen keyboard that will appear, press and hold the button &%123 then type "/"/ - this will definitely do the same as LGLG but since pressing the &%123 will change the keys to symbols, they are still the same buttons.

    It works -- I did it this way on my Torch 9850. It just clears the event log. TBH on an OS 7 BlackBerry you are not really achieving much. The event log fills up again pretty quickly.

    That is NOT what ALT LGLG does. What it does is clear the Event Log and by and large it is a pointless exercise as that log will never exceed a capacity of 400KB and will always populate.
