Just saw that on rogers website! You beat me to it!!!!
It's about time... now Telus and Bell gotta get them out!!!
Wifi hotspot?! oooo....
still not available yet, I called Rogers... I love how educated they are about their products...
I just called a few stores... they all say they are waiting for their shipments to arrive today and they are expecting them to be in todays shipments.
They told me to call back in a few hours.
And they all told me they would sell them off contract!
Ugh!
No stock anywhere!

lies... they told me the same thing yesterday.
Friday in store according to my buddy who works there. They are pushing droid this week. Dummy units are on display thou
If I was to get an unlocked Rogers version for use in the UK, would WiFi hotspot be disabled?
Are Rogers handsets usually unlocked or do they need to be unlocked?
This handset may persuade me to come back to black... :)
Anyone find a GTA store with stock?
:s

it does not release till Friday the 26th. that's when the stores will have it and if you ordered online that's when it will be shipped
I need a trick to do that. I've ordered a Rogers blackberry before, online, and had it shipped to U.S. Website is different now. How to outsmart it?
No way to trick the system at this point but you could get someone to order it for you the send it your way. I see your with t mo you know you wont get 3g/h+ from a rogers phone.
Ah, thanks for the tip. Guess I should wait for.... Bell? They'll be next, right?
Bell is on HSPA+ for new phones and it will have 9860 exactly like Rogers.
All big 3 in Canada (Bell, Telus and Rogers) will be on H+ (9860) so it does't matter which carrier you buy from and unlock.... 9850 is CDMA and will be used in Verizon.
Rocky,
check this link:

9860 does support H+ unless in T-Moblie, you use AWS frequency (i guess 1700)....
only half right my friend. bell will b next but none of the big three will work for tmo. youll ha e to wait and see if wind in canada tmo in the states or voda in the uk to get you up and running
OK, but if I'm on T-Mo and I'm content with ordinary 3G (can live without 3G+ or 4G or whatever it is), I could get Rogers or Bell or Voda?
It can be unlocked that's for sure.. :)
you can unlock Blackberry 9860 online in minutes if you have the unlocking code for your handset by using the simple Blackberry 9860 unlock instructions
Anyone help me how to order online and ship to Vietnam? Which deliver will be chosen?
I prefer DHL than post office because the custom here may open the box before I can see my phone!
So tomorrows the big day for Rogers. Does anyone know if the Rogers units will launch with wireless hotspot?
Is it really? I've been calling stores all over the place and they all are saying "next week"...
Rogers stores are now telling me next week.
I called 5 stores today all saying they dont have it and they will have it the beginning of next week.
This is crazy. Why do they have to make it that hard? I just want the damn phone.
