Hi,
I have new 9810, recently unlocked (been on Virgin). When conected with DM to restore all setings from my old device, DM says contacts cannot be restored. Why is that?This is not my first BB, but its first time to see that problem. You can see the 'contacts' but they are dimmed and read only....

Your contacts on the old device were set to sync on wireless with an email account. You will need to turn off wireless synchronization on the old device, back it up and restore on the 9810.

Yes they are synced, you are right. How to turn the sync off, please?

on the old device, go to contacts - menu - options - select the account they are synced with and uncheck the box. You might need to activate it again to do this. I could be wrong.

Just found out how to turn off the wireless sinc and it is all good now!
