i've had this torch for roughly a week, haven;t dropped it, had a incipio feather case on it since the day i got my replacement, (last week) and 2 days ago,i noticed a grindy noise when i would slide the phone up/down. i took the case off of it to see if that fixed a problem. no, it still does it. Any ideas on what to do?
Sounds like you might have gotten a bit of something between the sliders. Don't know if this will work or not, but try sliding a piece of dental floss between the sections. Don't put too much pressure on it, because there's a ribbon connector in between that's probably pretty fragile. But you might be able to dislodge whatever is grinding in there. If that doesn't work, try a little blast of air from a compressed air duster can.
