Well then you are welcome to wait around and see what people like me find when we load it first! No one says you have to update!
To ANY load, not just a leak. RIM not posting release notes publicly is not new or specific to the Torch.

Oh great! Please .399, fix the text messaging bug!
I see a ton of talk about this SMS bug. What is it? That you can't click R or B to jump down in an SMS thread? When I open a thread, I start at the bottom, but R for Reply and B for Bottom don't work if I scroll up through it.

What I really care about is the camera that is less commonly discussed and doesn't seem to affect most. I open the camera and can't take pics. It makes a fancy viewer for what I could see by moving the Torch out of my line of sight too. On-screen button, trackpad, Conv Key... none will actually snap a pic!
    (Battery pull fixes temporarily.)

do u have any idea which operator will get it?
    ATT, Rogers, Europe, Russia????????
My guess is that the OP either doesn't know or does but won't say, otherwise he would have already.

It's happened to me in every build since .141. It only happens on extremely long text threads. I just delete the thread once it gets long enough to happen.

Sorry, I didn't really mean "what is it?" I've heard a few people mention a few different SMS-related bugs, and I meant to confirm with the newer user whether this was what she meant. (I just did a really bad job of asking. Need. Coffee.)

Regardless, I don't have the full issue. As I stated, I always start at the bottom of an SM chat. But R and B shortcuts should work and the don't.

Both opening the text messages thread in the middle of no where AND the R,B shortcuts. Sometimes when I open my sms thread, it would scroll to the bottom so slowly by itself! Gets a little irritating sometimes, therefore now I delete my threads as soon as it gets really long.

No one knows. For all we know they may never be released, although that's highly unlikely. "Leaks" of an os are just that, and no one can give an estimated or definite release date.

Well sort of. These 2 OS's being "registered" means at least one carrier has just said they are releasing that OS for each of them.

So we can safely assume these are both to be official releases, and likely within the next week.

Of course, hopefully they leak first!

Pretty crappy supposedly. AT&T tested and reluctantly didn't release after at least one tester (who happens to me a member here) gave 410 am extremely negative review.

And here it is over a month since that post and still nothing. Still standing by your comment of "within a couple weeks"?

You cut out the word "likely" from that quote!
If only I had more power than a semi-educated guess…

Supposedly around one-two weeks is the common timeframe for releasing an OS once the carrier has registered it.

Who would have guessed a month ago that 410 was crap, as we've heard? And no idea where 399 went, unless it was the same carrier that registered both.

    I think I saw 399 on the side of a milk carton…
