Although I use, and my speed dial list is fully allocated, I was looking at the my speed dial list and something occured to me!! Just what do the numbers mean/do that are beside some of the letters in the list?

For example. The letter C has a number 9 tucked in behind it, the D has a 5 and an F has a 6 and so on. Why haven't I taken any notice of these before? very strange!!

Are you joking? Those numbers are next to the letters on the keyboard. For example, "C" is also the corresponding number key for "9." I'm curious, is every one of your speed dial keys in use?

Would I post if I was joking

I only have 1-9 on my primary device (9860) and they are all allocated.
On my 9780, which doesn't come out very often I haven't taken any notice of the numbers behind the letters before. Hence the question.

Does this meet with your approval.

Of course ... I just didn't want other people to think I'm easily played.

Oh, and you're using mainly numbers. Hmmmm. I use letters so they're easy to remember. For example, "T" for Tom, "K" Ken, etc.
