The forum police are always on guard.

This theme junkie is very sad. Wallpapers help but there is nothing like finding a fine theme and enjoying its functionality. Maybe one day...

I feel your pain, I had some sweet themes on the 9800, but now I have nothing, when I got the 9800, after just a month I had a bunch of themes, but it sucks that we have to till mid 2012 at leats to get themes for 7.0

I love my 9810. I loved my 9800. But the speed and fluidity of the 9810 makes the 9800 pale in comparison except for themes. I really miss the look and function of the SuperTilt theme that was on my 9800. Oh well, good things come to those who wait.

I completely agree with you. Going from a Bold 9000 which was getting no new themes because it was too old, to a Torch 9810 which has no new themes because it is too new, is incredibly frustrating.

There was another thread a few months back that said themes would be coming in 20112 because a compatible version of theme builder wouldn't be ready till then. IIRC it souned like early in the year, but I'm not certain.

Man that's a long time to wait for themes. Wonder if RIM will still exist?

With over 30+ themes on my 9800, I too am going through theme withdrawal. There has been a work around to get themes to be OS7 compatible(looked to be a huge pita and not really worth the time), but with no interest from theme dev's or any theme dev's using the 9810 , even after TB7 is released I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting.

i have made 2 themes for the 9810 so far.
one of which is the boring default theme.

It is not easy to do without theme builder but it is being done.,,

check out the 9810 theme section.

i will continue to make themes for the 9810 as i find it fun.

Didn't even know there was a 9810 theme section.

Since TB7 hadn't come out I didn't even bother to look in the theme section.

I went through a phase with my 9800 where I tried a lot of different themes, but after several days with each one I would delete them in favor of the stock theme which think works beautifully. The only thing I didn't like was the "favorite" "download" and other frames.

Now on my 9810 I can turn off thoes frames and I could not be happier. Not additional themes needed.

Man, loving the speed of the 9810 and battery life, but omg I was SO used to the HTC incredible theme. It was so intuitive that I find myself really having to work at finding stuff, with time I'll get the organization right, but man themes were really nice for making things quick and easy.

Is there a tips and tricks for the new OS? I'll search around, but just wondering, since it looks like I'll be running stock for a bit anyways.

The OS7 Blue is definitely a theme. It changes the top bar and some icons. The Wallpaper is also downloadable.

I had a sweet theme on my 8300 but the cool thing about it was that it added lots of cool hotspot features and keyboard shortcuts. Same thing for my 9700 but when Os 6 came out that made themes moot for me. The default is highly functional and I don't want it changed. Same goes for the 9810.

You don't see iPhoners squalling about lack of theming...
