I've downloaded many themes and apps to my Torch, but this morning download the Rainbow Hearts theme on this site and instantly had porn pop up on my screen! I hope that I have gotten it all off. I posted this in feedback mainly because I am the mother of two kids with Torch phones and this is not something I want them to see. Within minutes I got an email from someone who asked me where I got the theme and I told them on this site. They then told me of an issue with java and that is probably what caused it and not the theme. I responded that my java is disabled and that other themes did not cause it. Her next email said "Well idk what to tell you. No one has had that problem. Delete the theme."

I had already deleted the theme--I am not stupid. Furthermore, what reason was there for this person to be rude?

I looked at the thread for that theme and no one else is complaining. Perhaps you should let the author of the theme know. Anyways I'm going to move the thread to the 9800 Theme section so other 9800 theme users can see it.

I bet this thread just generated a whack of hits for theme mentioned!

I did try downloading it out of curiosity but the ota link is no longer valid. I agree with poster above me that of it was the cause, it would have been mentioned. Frankly, didn't look like much a theme - just a re-skinning of the default into garish pink hues. But each to their own.

Maybe there was more to the email, but doesn't sound rude to me. Just because it didn't help you or wasn't what you wanted to hear doesn't make it rude.

Can you please elaborate? What does it mean that you "instantly had porn pop up on my screen"?
Do you mean your wallpaper? And not trying to be crass, but what was it exactly? Just a single image? Was the person fully nude?

I'm just wondering if you use the CB Wallpaper Changer app. I've had times where that app's settings reverted to default, which cycles wallpapers from every category on CB, including the "NSFW babes" section, or whatever it's called. (Unfortunately I haven't been so lucky as to have a nude lady. The topless fireman wallpaper I woke up too one morning after loading a new OS was not too appreciated� )

When you have a problem that nobody else has, it's time to keep an open mind and look for other possible causes too.
