Thanks for the suggestion, but it does not need hot keys to show/hide the dock. As stated in the description, the dock will show and hide on focus in and focus out. So when you move from the profiles (sound) icon to any icon on the dock, the dock will appear. When you move away from the dock and back to the profiles icon, the dock will again hide itself
