First of all, Merry Christmas.



I'll tell you up front, i've never physically made a skin for any blackberry device, so if I was to go on with development, i'd need assistance, i've seen something about a theme creator, but im on a mac, and theres no support sadly.

Just your thoughts on the clean design please.

I prefer 'clean' skins... The most themes try to be comfortable and try to offer as many functions as possible. But I treat my device like a piece of art, a masterpiece of design. Therefor the screen has to be clear and should be dominated by my own wallpaper. The banner, bars etc. should be transparent. I will use a dark wall for (better) visibelity of the icons and shown infos. The selected wall (my own) should be 'flow through' to the lockscreen. By the way- the selected icons/trigger should be 'light up' in a decent and glossy way- its elegant and noble... I think your way seems to be the right way! :-)
