I am looking for a Calendar Theme similar to the link below as listed on 'The Theme Zone'.

The Theme Zone: Torch 9800: Classic Calendar +

I have tried to download this one but the download link no longer works. There are several others similar on the same site but their respective links do not work either.

Can anyone recommend a theme like this.

Ideally OS 6 stock style with just a calendar.

I have recently moved over from Android and the only thing I miss is being able to see all my appointments for the day on the homescreen.

    Cheers.

IStolePM is great. I can also recommend Row6TodayUp or Color10Today by KahneFan:

I have tried to download yours but the file does not work.

It downloads and says it installs but it does not appear in the theme list.

I have tried a couple of others from your site and they download and install fine.

Can you have a look at the file and see if there is an issue? The file is showing as only 200kb whereas your others are over 1mb.

I made a special for you from my own gdTheme. Normally it has both a Calendar list as a tasks list. But this version has only the calendar list (with 8 lines). Hope you like it...

-->For a calendar only list version (special) - Download the theme from OTA here (v4.2)<--

I Could delete the top 3 buttons to make room for an additional 3 calendar list lines extra if you want?

Here is the link of my normal gdTheme:

Yes, i see. Strange, i will have a look at it when i am home.
You can try the original version from the forum thread i started. To see if it is something you can work with.
Maybe it's better:-) I use Roco Cal app for a easy weekly overview.

So only the first view items are for quick view. When it becomes complicated i will take a look at the roco cal app.

I really like your theme. The colours of the calendar are great with the background and the highlight.

I would really like to see a version without the 3 buttons at the top as I only use one of those anyway.

I have the phone show me Calendar, contacts and SMS messages and browser as my first applications. So for me another couple of lines of appointments would be better.

Also, on the landscape mode - what options can you have?

I thought I had seen a theme somewhere which offered music player buttons.

Is this something you can do with theme builder?

I know I am asking a lot but I use Linux and have no desire to start installing windows anywhere.

Yes i can remove the buttons also (the maximum lines of the list is 10). But on the landscape mode i cannot do want you ask. The only thing easy for me is to change the type of list. Choises are messages, calendar, tasks, memo, twitter, facebook, text messages, messager.
Beside that there is room for 3 more fixed button of an BlackBerry native app.

I don't use the landscape mode that much.

The potrait version is excellent. Much clearer.

The landscape version is something I do not use often. If I could have anything in landscape it would either be calendar with the same set of apps shown in potrait (the ones I can choose from my app list) or as an alternative just swItch to the full app list if that is available.

Is the second option something that can be done with themes?
    06-17-11 04:40 AM
  15. gdanonym's Avatar
No, the second option isn't possible. I can see what happens if i turn the whole landscape mode off. So this is first choice by you?

I will see what i can do for you...

If you don't use the landscape mode much we can also leave it with this version. I don't use it also that much. So i normally don't do anything with it.

PS: Are you using QuickLaunch app?

I think i'm changing the whole landscape mode for myself also. Your suggestion is a good one. Still keeping the list, but below there is room for 12 buttons, so i can make them the order from the app list.

    Quicklaunch area can be smaller.

PS: I will turn landscape mode off for you. It will then display the app.list.

Excuse my silly question but what is the QuickLaunch App?

I have been away from BB for a while so not sure about this.

I have downloaded the file from the quote above and - JUST WHAT I NEEDED.!!

Theer may be many who think this is a really boring theme. All it does is show the calendar when there are themes that have loads of pretty graphics and monitors embedded. But, my BB is a business tool first and foremost and all I need it for is calls, text, email and CALENDAR. So boring is what I need.

Thank you very much for taking the time on this one.

One other question about this theme and or theme builder.

I notice that if I use the trackpad to scroll the home screen then there is a top and bottom. If I scroll all the way down I highlight the last app from the app list shown. I cannot scroll any further down. The scroll does not wrap back to the top.

Is it possible to have the scroll go all the way around? So if I scroll all the way down to the last app in the app list, then scroll one further I get taken back up to Manage Conections?
