- I moved a bunch of what I thought were MP3 files from my device memory to my new SDHC card using Filescout. They all played just fine on the BB before I did this.
Now, some of the files I moved won't play on my 9800 (using .337), and I get an errror message about "unsupported format".
I checked using the Properties option see that the unplayable files are in WMA format.
First, how could Filescout have reformatted them? I don't think so.
Next, even if they were re-formatted, so what? According to RIM, the 9800 native music player can handle the WMA format.
Anybody have any ideas for a fix?
