I am trying to get the contacts out of my 9800. Desktop says it is sync'ing one way to Windows Contacts and they all went.

Where did they go? They are not in my Live Mial Contacts.

I don't use Outlook, but maybe some pre-installed component is there?

You have a Contacts folder under your profile name in Explorer. It at the same level as Documents, Desktop, Downloads, My Music, etc.
