My BB 9800 comes with a 4GB micro SD card. I intend to change it to a 16GB or the latest 32GB.
Can BB 9800 support these capacity?
Thanks.

yes up to 32G class 6.
Definitely get the 32 GB especially if you have lots of videos.

Either is fine, as noted already. TIP: Class 2 cards seem to lag a bit on video playback. Class 4 seems fine. Transfer rate can be a consideration as well. Generally, the higher the class rating the faster you can copy large files (or a large volume of files) from your PC to the card.

My 16GB class 2 card does not lag on video...
Also keep in mind that 16GB are significantly cheaper than 32GB.
I have 2 from Patriot that 16G class 2. No lag issues.

I didn't even know that 32gb cards where out yet!!! When did this happen?

I'm pretty sure there are 64GB and even higher out as well. The 9800 can probably take it but not handle it very well.

As far as I know, there are no 64GB MicroSD cards available nor even announced. 32GB is currently the highest.
If a 64GB MicroSD card came out, and the Torch were able to support it, it would work just fine. If not, it wouldn't. It wouldn't "take it but not handle it very well".
