    Hey guys,
    I was given a Used Blackberry Torch 9800 for an early Christmas Present, however it was connected to the wrong provider (Rogers) so I had to get it unlocked. Up until I had it unlocked the phone was able to connect to wifi and ran great, (without a sim card) I was able to connect to the browser, facebook app etc. via Wifi.

    After having the device unlocked and pitting in my FIDO Sim everything works great, except for my wifi. The Top of the Screen still says FIDO-(insert wifi name here) and I have strong signal, however I am met with "Unable to connect to internet, please try again later... If this problem persists please contact your service provider"

    Does anyone think they can help me figure this out? I would greatly appreciate the help!

    You might need to reregister the device on the network first.

    ^^ what he said. There are different service books. Once you register on Fido and resend the service books, you *should* be OK.
