Hi All, New member here. I've got a blackberry torch 9800 - I've had it for about 8 months now and all has been ok.

Today the universal search stopped working. I've read various posts but none relate to this issue. I type in a name of a contact for example and nothing happens - the green symbol in the top right appears and stays that way without returning anything. This issue started today and I haven't added any 3rd party products or upgraded or anything like that. Using OS6. Hope someone out there can help - cheers.

Did you change themes? I've found a few that don't allow universal search to work.

Might have to wipe and reload the OS. Make sure you do a backup first.

It's easy to forget to do the simplest thing. Especially when a device doesn't have other buggy things happening. Glad you've got it working again. US is one of my favorite features!
