I bought a commitment free 9800 last year in the USA, and brought it back to the UK....The earpiece speaker has now failed, and I would like to get it repaired.

BB have been worse than useless regarding who their warranty repairers are in the UK, even though they said the warranty is worldwide.

Has anyone had a similar problem, and apart from sending it back to the USA, or spending �45 for a local company to fix it, found a warranty repairer in the UK?

Try calling BlackBerry 1-800 number and they will direct you to the appropriate service centre.

BB UK couldn't, so I doubt BB in the US would direct me to a UK service centre to be honest.
