how do i change the number of icons in my tray, i had 4 and now there are 8 and i want there to be 4 again, help is appreciated

If I'm understanding your question correctly all you need to do is press your finger on "All" in the bar above the icons - it could be "Favorites" "Media" "Downloads" "Frequent" - either way just press your finger on it and drag it up or down and put it where you prefer.
