I've been loyal to Blackberry for years now but I really want a touch screen phone and if this isn't on Sprint anytime soon I'm probably going to try out the EVO 4g. Does anyone know anything about the 9800 coming to Sprint? I know it's ATT 1st but it seems like Sprint is being left out of the blackberry world!
There are plenty of rumors that sprint will get the slider 3-6 months after ATT as there is a CDMA version of the slider in the works. Again, only rumors.
3-6 months is not likely, AT&T has a 3 month exclusive deal. T-mobile is rumored to get it after that, I don't see CDMA versions coming out until well into 2011.
I just spoke to sprint to see if the bold was the last phone in 2010 to be released and she said that 9930 was a possibility but wouldn't give me a definitive answer. Maybe someone knows more?
i thought i was lead to believe that the clamshell will be a verizon only phone (boo even though i think its not too attractive) just like the storm. If anything i hope the slider or the storm 3 comes to sprint. Honestly that is if sprint wants to hold on to their blackberry customers.
a new curve and the updated tour/bold is not gonna be enough for everyone.
im not gonna hold my breath on that but 2011 is right but i doubt we will get more than that. Seeing how well the bold's release date was guessed the "who knows" are gonna pile up for a while on this.
2011 should be perfect timing, as I'll be 1 year into my Bold and ready for an upgrade.
quit being selfish. I want it to be released on Aug 15 on sprint network or asap. If your contract isnt up till next year, still wish for it to be release on the 15th since it makes no difference to you.
