I noticed after I updated my BB App World (2 days ago) the touch scrren keyboard format has TOTALLY changed. I DO NOT LIKE IT!!

Now, I rarely used the touchscreen KB, opting for the "regular" qwerty kb that I originally got my first BB for. (A Tour)

Anyway, I was trying to adjust my touch to use the touchscreen KB, and now you have changed it and it's really wongo. How can I get my original format back, the new KB, imho is almost like trying to type on a dial plate.

Why and how did this change happen?? I am baffles by it.

You need to go to your Keyboard settings and change the Portrait Keyboard Type to "Full". Somewhere along the way, you set it to Reduced.

Is it because you have your keyboard setting to reduced keyboard? You should change it to full keyboard or maybe its the language setting on your virtual keyboard
