Hey I searched the forums but I have not found any solutions. If I plug my Torch in (both to USB or wall charger), the battery mostly does not charge, it just shows a plug icon like this:


So it works as an external power, but it does not charge. Usually (after battery pull or reset) it does do it for a few minutes then it stops again. And sometimes it charges my Berry without a problem. Could this be a software or a hardware bug? I'm on .600, should I try a clean OS install? Thanks for your help.

I had .600 and I had zero issues with this. Maybe trying berry licious v4 hybrid may help? If not then maybe your battery is going?

It charges now via USB without a problem, it still does not work via AC. Thanks for that Berrylicious hint, I haven't heard of it before and I'm trying it now!

Hi, I'm having this same problem. Sometimes the phone will charge fine, sometimes just show this plug icon or other times jus constantly switch between this and the flashing charging icon. What's going on???

Yes it happens to me sometimes to.. Sometimes it can be because the charger is not plugged in correctly or maybe the power source your using to charge the phone is not good and won't be able to charge your phone

I have a similar problem, but when I plug in my phone,the battery on the main screen will NOT have that "lightning bolt" charging icon, but when I switch to another screen (calendar or messages) I see the lightning bolt... it does charge anyway.
