Yesterday my girlfriend let our 7 month old son play with her phone. To cut a long story short, dribble was involved so I did the usual rice trick without the battery inserted over night.
She tried to turn it on this morning (against my advice) and only the buttons on the front light up. Not the keyboard, or the red "booting" light. What's weird though, is that they turn on immediately, and flash every second...
It's back in the rice now but I just need to know whether anyone's had this before and it WASNT water related?
Not like that. My husband dumped a cup of coffee on his BB once and no matter how much I tried the thing was gone. I especially wouldn't turn it back on so soon.
If it's to be saved it needs to stay in rice, battery off, for at least two days.
