According to other posts, The original att branded model says "Torch" on the backside while those that came out later through Canadian carriers say "5.0 MP Autofocus", As far as other carriers im not sure just have read about the ones coming from Canadian carriers.
Yes, the Canadian Torches have the "5.0 MP" on them instead of saying "Torch". I love how mine doesn't have any branding on the bottom of the bezel, however I'd rather see "Torch" where the camera is instead of what camera it's got. Ah well, beggars can't be choosers heh
I just got it from an Authorized Dealer in India, mine says 5.1 MP Auto Focus. I guess its normal. Only AT&T and i guess even T-mobile Torch has the "TORCH" at their back.
Mine is a white Torch on O2-UK and it says 5.0MP, it was bought from Phones4U it's unbranded and has no splash screen (I believe it may be unlocked however I haven't tested it). Partner has black Torch on O2-UK and it says 5.0MP also, however it was purchased from the O2 shop, it's unbranded however it does have a splash screen. They were bought within a couple of days of each other.

Hi, mine says 5.0 too.. As yours... I just noted this last week, when i was at ebay looking for original full housing. I dont understand why mine says 5.0 autofocus, and others says torch.
I have one that says Torch (AT&T), and two that say 5.0 (Rogers and Telus).
You can swap out the centre piece of the housing (the black plastic piece with the volume buttons and convenience key) and that will replace the lens cover.
