    Very new to BB. I got this unused BB Torch 9800. I tried to connect to wifi but I can't see the option in Managed Connections. I put a SIM with data plan but still the same. I upgraded to latest available SW but still same. Is there any way I can make the wifi option appear in the menu? I do think this phone have wifi interface as I can see the wifi MAC address in system info. Appreciate all your advise. Thanks in advance.

    Check device status information (option-device) to see if an IT policy is in place (in device status info screen, type buyr - the letters won't show - then scroll to the bottom to see if IT policy is there or not.

    And I believe in OS6, you'll need cellular data set at ON for wifi to work.
