i was changing few apps on desktop manager but when i hit apply it stops at back up third party applications and it says uploading RAM image. also my torch shuts down while doing this. is this suppose to happen?
That should not happen. Try a different USB cable and USB port. It can take a long time to do an OS update, but it should not stop working or freeze. Also the Torch may appear to be shutting down at times, but it may be re-booting.
When you transfer/sync data with a old bb to a Torch, only sync or transfer data not 3rd party apps
everything is updated on the Torch, it's like trying to sync old material to new material
